Principal of a consulting firm focused on helping organizations grow, change, and manage conflict. Services include: business process analysis; leading strategic planning efforts; leading change; managing systemic and interpersonal conflict; helping design new organizational structures to accommodate growth; training; coaching leaders on succession planning; improving retention; improving cross-functional collaboration; facilitating retreats, meetings, and difficult conversations.
Director, Cheshire Mediation 1997-2007
Lead and managed a community mediation center providing a wide array of conflict management services throughout New England.
• Logged over 2000 hours of actual mediation experience in public disputes, organizational conflicts, divorce, and small claims court.
• Consulted to over 50 organizational clients throughout New England providing strategic planning, conflict management, facilitation, training, team building, and change management services.
• Supervised and managed 14 employees, and a $175,000 annual budget.
• Grew fee-for-service income twenty fold over a ten year period.
Adjunct Faculty Woodbury College 2001-2005
Providing conflict resolution, communications, mediation, and facilitation training services to students in Masters-level and certificate mediation programs.

Central America 1987 --1992
Member of the Witness for Peace long-term team in Nicaragua and Honduras, living in conflict zones in order to document the effects of the war on civilians and to provide accompaniment to endangered Nicaraguans (1987 & 1988). While in Nicaragua I was a part of a team that negotiated the release of a kidnapped member of the Italian clergy. Later I organized and led a ten-month, 5,000 mile peace pilgrimage from Panama to Washington DC to commemorate the quincentennial of Columbus.
Plum Village, France
Lived and worked in the Buddhist Community of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh for four months, learning meditation and deep listening.
Worked in Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia organizing and leading a peace walk to commemorate the end of WWII. (1994-1995)
